Day One Thirty-Six: Pictures

Here are the pictures from Day One I promised:

What follows is my worst shame of the whole thing: My bed. Yes, that's was all on my bed and it's barely gotten better.

I'm not proud. I'm not sure if it's any better, but... a girl can work, right? I can't tell if I'm helping or hurting, but I'll be spending the next month before I start at my seasonal job working hard to fix this mess. I have spring break coming up and I plan to take off my current job and literally just clean and write.

Sometimes I don't think I'll ever get out of this mess.

Day Hundred Twenty Five: I swear things are getting done

I guess I should be disappointed that cleaning/organization is going slower than I thought, but at the same time I'm learning better habits with my boyfriend. Admittedly between school, work and helping him out, I'm rarely home and when I am, I'm exhausted.

But we're working on the habits together at his place: dishes go into the dishwasher immediately and when it's full it goes on, when the trash is full we take a the bag out at once, we clean up after ourselves almost immediately, and we're working on getting shit, er um, stuff, organized.

As for my own place... I'm try to make a cleaning schedule: Wednesday-Laundry day, Sunday- Clean up my Room, and Monday- housework. I don't have to worry about the whole house since I still live at home, but my own room, my own laundry, and certain things around the house I should help with anyways. My chief concern is my room however.

Last week I did take out three bags of garbage last week, two boxes out a couple of weeks ago, and I'm hoping to get rid of a couple of bags or boxes of things I don't need out by the end of the next week. I've need to get rid of things. Simplify, simplify, simplify.
